Walk about for art

YAY!!! Finally it was Wednesday, the day we had been waiting for. The painting and printing group were really excited because they finally got to do art outside instead of in the classroom. They sketched four different landscapes of the wharf, the estuary and the Smokehouse and the old Cool Store.

As a bonus we got to see Hamish, the white heron, who you do not see very often.

Here are some examples of the landscapes we drew. Don't they look awesome.

Hi Room 9,

Fantastic photos!

We certainly live in a beautiful place don't we?

Looking forward to seeing your completed art.

Kia ora Room 9.

It was good to read about your walk about for art. I was really impressed with the lino cut prints so it was great to read about the beginning of this process. Did you know that Hamish eats a kilo of fish each day?
